About

Life is like a sprinting river and most people jump-frog on the river without ever deciding where they want to end up. They set off on journey without even a little spadework. In a short period of time, they find themselves caught up in the current: current events, current fears and current challenges. When they come to forks in the river, they don’t consciously decide where they want to go or which is the right direction for them? They merely ‘go with the flow’. They become a part of the mass of the people who are directed by the environment instead of by their own values. As a result, they feel out of control. They remain in this unconscious state until one day the sounds of raging water awakens them and they discover that they are five feet from Niagara Falls in a boat with no oars. At this point, they say, “Oh Shit”. But by then, it is too late. — Anthony Robbins

My point of view:

Since we are all human I think it’s fair to tell you a little bit about my background so you know where I am coming from.

I grew in a small middle class neighborhood in Northern NJ. At the time my family immigrated to the US in 1987. The town I grew up in was pre-dominantly Italian. My mother was a drafter and my father was a mason. Through sports and martial arts I’ve discovered and was able to apply the concepts of teamwork, goal setting, mental toughness, and drive into my “way” of life.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Asian Philosophy esp. Sun Tzu. My favorite book is Tao Te Ching – The Way- as I approach life with those principles and values. My purpose and meaning in life is to live life with adventure, learning, experience, love, passion, and having meaningful relationships.

I am willing to help anyone who is willing to listen and I am willing to learn from those who are willing to teach.

I’m not the cookie cutter business professional as I didn’t attend a prep school or Ivy League college. I decided to pursue a lifelong dream to serve in the United States Marine Corps. I served from 2001-2009 and deployed to Iraq. With the Military principles and values along with my Asian Philosophies or “the way” is how I conduct myself on a personal and professional level. While I was in college I did not pursue internships because I had the opportunity to travel the world being signed by one of the top modeling agencies in the world. I was fashion/fitness model and worked as a personal trainer to put myself through school. I graduated college in 2008 and had a hard time finding a job so I pursued a Masters Degree and seek mentors to help fill the gaps I needed to learn. Through this journey I built a small team of friends who holds me accountable to my goals and aspirations. In addition I am very fortunate to have mentors who are willing to help me and show me what I need to learn.

As a Buddhist – I meditate to self reflect and continuously learn about myself. I often observe that many people let the world and society around them control and pave the pathway for them. Every year I plan and draft a personal development plan to set personal and professional goals. I’m a huge fan of Napoleon Hill and study his work like a college course by taking notes and doing more outside research on how I can apply his principles to my life.

Finally I am a young man who is enjoys the journey and evolution towards better adaptation. My desire is to continue evolving and growing to become a better man where I can help and impact those around me.
